Gosh, I told my kids I got so smart by eating Smarties candy. I also told them I avoid Dum-Dum lollipops, just to be on the safe side. Could I be the reason my kids have such a warped sense of humor? Naaahhh...

I remember as a young child saying quite nonchalantly that my mom was the most beautiful woman in the world because, in my mind then, surely it could not be any other way.
