Routine

Routine
by Arthur Guiterman

No matter what we are and who,
Some duties everyone must do:

A Poet put aside his wreath
To wash his face and brush his teeth,

And even Earls
Must comb their curls,

And even Kings
Have underthings.

I really like that picture, every summer I get a thrill from hanging out my laundry on the line--

Hey there, Julana.

And thanks for visitin' my blog Ms. Scribbit. Hate to say it, but I only hang blankets and quilts on my laundry line.
